Lazy Bones

Dear Cassie,

I just feel like laying around, watching tv and playing on the computer this Summer and my mom is always on me about helping around the house. Why can't I just do what I want?

Dear Corey,

I feel ya, it's nice to just have no responsibilites and chill out hardcore. But, I also know how boring that can get. Your brain will turn to mush! It's easy to find a nice balance between relaxing and doing some chores and having responsibility. Just plan out your time. If you know you have to take the dog on his morning walk, get up a little earlier to do that so you have time to play before the lunchtime laundry folding. Your mom isn't a slave driver, she just wants you to stay busy, be a part of the family and learn how to have responsibilities. So quit whining and have a fun, yet productive Summer!
