Summer TCA Hair!
This year's Teen Choice Awards were chock full of young stars and starlets...and their hot summer day on the red carpet fashion choices! The day is a mix of dressy and casual styles, but August in Hollywood can be HOT, and this year was no different! We've chosen a few of the stars camera ready hair styles to highlight as gorgeous ways to look chic and kewl when the heat is on!
One of the most popular styles of the day was the long, wavy 'beach-hair' look. Each girl added her own twist to the style, and paired it with a different clothing choice, making it a pretty versatile style good for any occassion.
Gossip Girl Leighton Meester paired it with a grecian style green gown, giving her an elegant, classical look.
Reality star Lauren Conrad went super beachy, with a colorful maxi-dress, and pulled tendrills back from her forehead for a pretty princess look.
Miley wore her signature large waves in true rock star style loose and wild over a gray layered summer mini-dress.
Jordin Sparks added some Selena Gomez style with her bright red highlights in her long wavy style. Paired with a colorful Africa logo T-shirt and jeans makes it a great casual style for back to school as well!
Anna Maria Perez de Tagle brings a dressier twist to the style by adding a beautiful black flower hair ornament, and creating large barrell curls with her long locks.
In one of her best looks EVER, heiress Kim Kardashian rocked a classic 'snow white' look,with her shining black hair up in fanned out pony-tail at the nape of her neck. The loose tresses around her face make for one of her prettiest and softest looks ever - Go, Kim!
Another Gossip Girl, Jessica Szohr, decided for a more put together look, with poker straight locks to give her bright orange outfit an extra edge!
Keeping it smooth, singer Jojo created a beautiful sweep of her reddish blonde mane. Paired with a form fitting pink mini-dress, we sure think she looked cute as a button.
Our final entry in the hair-stakes is Shailene Woodley, star of the upcoming "Secrets of an American Teenager" series. We already loved her from her stint on "Degrassi", and are sure she's about to become one of the hottest things in TV this year! her simple choice of a wispy updo is both perfect for a hot day, and a perfect match for her airy, hippie-style ensemble.
