Romp it Out!
03.31.09
Remember when you were a baby and you wore those ultra-comfortable onesies? You know, a top & bottom but connected to be one piece? Okay, would you wear them now? Well, rompers have been sneaking their way onto the fashion scene since last summer, but are making a big comeback for Spring/Summer 2009.

Some think they look childish, some think worn the right way at the right place, they can be chic or casually kewl. Most of the styles that are hitting the stores are more appropriate for summertime fun, maybe a beach cover up, bbq or running around town. Fancier rompers made of delicate fabric and worn with heels and belted at the waist have also been making appearances at clubs across the country. With rompers, you get the convenience of wearing a dress (you just throw it on without having to figure out matching tops to bottoms) but the casual ease if you're not into wearing a skirt that day. And you don't have to worry about a gust of wind showing the world your undies!

They come in halter style, tube top, crew neck, button up, you name it. The price range can be anywhere from $20-$200, depending on the style that you're looking for. In fact, this cool staffer wore a romper to her birthday bash last year and received a million complements. Cute, comfy, stylish and kewl. What else could you want out of an item in your closet?!

03.17.09
Word on the street is that Katie Holmes is set to design a line of children's clothing with her stylist Jeanne Yang. Celebrity stylist to Brooke Shields and now Holmes, Yang is credited for helping Katie achieve her winning style over the past few years. It will be interesting to see what the two come up with for youngsters. We've all seen how darn cute Suri is so hopefully it will be kewl!

Spring 2009 Style Trends!
3.04.09
It's all about color! Big, jewel-toned color! Like hot, salmoney reds, eye-popping fuschias, seductive blues, brilliant yellows and rich greens. As evidenced at the 81st Academy Awards a couple of weeks ago, color is the new black! Then you've got the cool lavendars and greys which go great together.
Alicia Keyes is drop dead gorgeous in this strapless lavendar chiffon dress. The slit up the side keeps it sexy without going over the top (or the bottom in this case!)

Natalie Portman is stunning in fuschia. And she's such a class act. She looks great in just about anything. This color is so versatile. It looks great on Natalie's fair skin and Alicia's golden brown skin as well.
Amanda Seyfried sparkles in this slammin' salmon number.
It doesn't hurt that her blonde hair has some strawberry tones in it that glisten next the salmon. This color isn't for everyone. It's best on blondes with fair skin.
Heidi Klum works her magic on the red carpet in this fire-engine red, off-the-shoulder dynamo. Does she ever look bad? No, seriously? And she's just having so much darn fun with it all! Good for her!
Samantha Harris (Dancing with the Stars, E! Entertainment and Extra) is looking quite smashing in a royal blue dress.
What's great about these bright colors is that almost anyone can wear them. There's only one color that gets a little tricky on fair-skinned gals: the golden yellow that you are going to see everywhere. Some people will get a way with it, some won't.
Stay tuned for more Spring 2009 Style Trends!
